Nieuwe activatie Office 365

In november 2014 heeft Microsoft een nieuwe methode van het uitleveren van Office 365 in Open License. Deze methode is beduidend anders dan in het verleden. Enkele in het oog springende verschillen:

  1. Alleen het e-mailadres dat gebruikt is als e-mailadres van de eindgebruiker krijgt een e-mail direct vanuit Microsoft om de keys te gaan activeren.
  2. Activatie gaat via een link in de ontvangen mail met een Organizational Account.
  3. Indien een Organizational Account nog niet aanwezig is moet een deze eerst aangemaakt worden (dit is een eenmalig actie per eindgebruiker).
  4. Bij vervolgbestellingen kan er dus gelijk vanuit de leverings e-mail geactiveerd worden.Met gebruikmaking van het licentie- en autorisatienummer wordt er met een Live ID/ Outlook.com ID/ Microsoft Account ingelogd op het VLSC en dien je de stappen te volgen om het Organizational Account aan te maken.

A) Activate your new online services (PDF)

Customers in the Microsoft Open program can activate their Office 365 subscriptions by using a new simplified process that eliminates the need to manually copy and paste product keys.

This guide is for administrators who:

  1. Have purchased Office 365 subscriptions that they want to activate.
  2. Want to activate their subscriptions by using a new streamlined method that does not involve the Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC).

B) Activate Online Services in the Volume Licensing Service Center (PDF)

The Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC) lets customers in the Open program activate their new Microsoft online services with a simplified process in the new Online Service Activations section of the VLSC.

This guide is for administrators who:

  1. Already use the Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC) to manage some products.
  2. Want to activate new online services in the VLSC.
  3. Also need to manage some products in the VLSC other than just online services.
